I told a friend I was going to try out this tool and she said set it at 10 percent. What does that mean?
Amy Gates

For Turnitin, the lower the score, the better. They may have set up 10% as the target (with only 10% of the content that is matching).

At what point do you set it up?

Turnitin has a repository of information/tutorials. Here is a page that talks about setting the threshold for percentage matching. https://help.turnitin.com/feedback-studio/turnitin-website/instructor/assignment-management/advanced-similarity-report-settings.htm?Highlight=setting%20percentage

In another webinar someone talked about getting two sets of scores. Is that because she was using the external tool?
